About Us
Welcome to Precious Pets!
Precious Pets is a pet sitting and dog walking service based in Scituate, Massachusetts. We care for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, fish, reptiles and other animals. Established in 1998, Precious Pets has been serving pets on the South Shore for over 25 years.
Precious Pets offers an alternative to daycare or boarding. Most pets are happiest in their own homes, with all the sights and sounds that are familiar to them. While you are away, your pet sitter or dog walker will make every effort to follow your pet's normal daily routine. Our goal is to keep your pet safe, happy, healthy, and ready to greet you when you return home.

I'm Debbie Wisleder and I started Precious Pets in 1998. Pets have always been an important part of my life. My house just isn't a home without a pet or two, and over the years my home has been shared with a variety of furry, finned, and feathered friends. Pets of all kinds bring so much joy to the people in their lives. As a pet owner, I know that when you leave home, you want to be sure that your pet is receiving all the love and care it deserves. Precious Pets provides that special service, allowing your pet to remain safe, happy, and comfortable at home. Precious Pets understands and truly cares about pets, and we want only the best for your best friend.
Located in Scituate, we serve Scituate, Cohasset, Hingham, and parts of Hull.

Our Services
Daily Dog Walks
Our popular dog walking service is perfect for busy pet owners who are away from home during the day. We offer a short, 15-minute "potty break" as well as a longer, 30-minute "leash walk." Each outing provides your pet with exercise, fresh air, companionship, and fun! Whether you need us five days a week or only occasionally, we'll be there -- rain, shine, sleet or snow. Please note that we walk dogs individually or with a second dog in the same family. We do not offer group walks.
Pet Sitting in Your Home
While you're out of town, Precious Pets will provide your pet with up to three visits per day. Each visit lasts 30 minutes and includes:
- Fresh food and water
- Outdoor playtime or walk
- Litter box or cage cleaned
- Medications, if needed
- Contact with vet and/or emergency transport to veterinary clinic, if needed
- Plenty of affection and individual attention
Also included at no additional charge:
- Mail and newspaper retrieval
- Indoor/outdoor plants watered
- Lights turned on/off
- Outdoor bird feeders filled
- Trash brought to curb
